The QA Analyst position is a challenging and rewarding role within a rapidly growing, venture-backed startup at the intersection of the online video advertising and media industries. The ideal candidate would be a QA professional comfortable in an informal, fast-paced, structured environment working closely with developers and product managers to ensure the functionality of our products. A strong web testing background is important, along with strong communication skills and attention to detail in defect and test case composition.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements to produce, execute and report on manual test scripts
• Recommend process improvements / ideas to the team
• Review all requirements and specifications documentation for clarity, completeness and testability
• Demonstrate initiative and creativity

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of web testing experience
• Extensive background writing test plans and test cases
• Must be hands on and comfortable troubleshooting
• Comfortable analyzing, creating, manipulating XML
• Test experience with Streaming Media/PHP/Flash
• Experience with the Agile development model
• Ability to create, manipulate and retrieve test data via SQL
• Test automation experience
• Industry knowledge of online advertising
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
