 Experience Profile

  • Computational Advertising
    -Designing, building, and managing high-scaling globally distributed systems for secure data management and processing.
    -Development of extensive APIs for collection of high-volume heterogeneous unstructured data (text, clickstream, twitter, transactional, campaign response, video, search, DTV, video, etc.) across numerous online/offline systems for predictive modeling
    -Development of rapid high-throughput data processing/scoring systems; distributed computing (map-reduce; Hadoop)
    -Development of real-time decisioning systems/arbitrage/bidding; “spot-market”; “futures market”
    -Development of extensive APIs for data provisioning and support of computational advertising systems across numerous channels including: display, mobile, search, email, affiliate link, mobile, DTV, etc.
    -Developing reporting/tracking system for performance measurement, ROI analysis, billing, and auditing

  • Data Mining; Ontological & Semantic Modeling
    -Development of systems to support supervised and unsupervised predictive modeling (graphical models) for consumer econometric scoring; [Latent semantic modeling, Bayesian modeling, Neural Networks, Genetic Algorithms, etc.]
    -Development of supervised and unsupervised ontological libraries
    -Development of graph databases and data structures
    -Development of heuristic/self-adapting systems

  • Marketplaces/Exchanges
    -Design, development, deployment and maintenance of advertising marketplace/exchange (collaborative, co-op, etc.) based on real-time price-decisioning
    -Experience with DSPs, SSPs, and RTB systems, etc.
    -Experience with trend detection and reporting

  • Publishing systems:
    -Development and maintenance of content management systems and dynamic serving of content and advertising
    -Advanced indexing/meta-tagging of content (video, editorial) for advertising
    -Integration and support of display advertising, search (SEM/SEO), sponsored links (adsense), social marketing, twitter, etc.
    -Management of audience (cookie) inventory

  • Business-to-Business and Consumer-facing applications
    -Experience building consumer-facing applications (iPhone, web application, etc.)
    -Creative and robust UI design

  • Management:
    -Experience developing and managing multi-million dollar budgets
    -Effective manager/mentor of technology staff (domestic; multi-office and global)
    -Effective management of domestic/globally distributed systems
    -Experience working effectively with executive management team (Sales, Finance, Product, Project Management, Quant, Operations, Marketing, HR, etc.)
